Vtg 50s 60s Kahala Hawaiian Playsuit 2pc Swim Suit

Description

An authentic vintage made in Hawaii Kahala 2 piece swimsuit / playsuit. Top features a shelf bust style that with thin straps and buttons around the back. Bottoms are a full coverage fit with attached brief, piping detail and zips up the back.
Originally purchased with the swimsuit shown in the last photo which was made for a shop in Honolulu called Carol & Mary. both are very similar in shape, style, and size. (suits sold separately)

condition : excellent! very gently used, possibly only worn once or twice! only visible sign of previous wear is some of the dye on the piping at the waist has very slightly smeared which is common on pieces where it fits the tightest. also the elastic on the attached brief lining has weakened with age but does not affect how it presents when worn!
