VINTAGE ~PERFECTION FIT BY ROXANNE~ STRAP/STRAPLESS Swimsuit 1950'S UNION LABEL!

Description

This vintage swimsuit, authentically 50's, was one of the PERFECTION FIT BY ROXANNE line. A fun two-way suit that can worn with the straps, or removed for instant strapless!  Shimmery nylon features an overall confetti design in pink, lavender, turquoise, white and grey on a black background....horizontal stripes above the bust line mimic the colors.  The garment still holds the original
ILGUW (INTERNATIONAL LADIES GARMENT WORKERS UNION) tag. The design as seen here, with the scalloped crest in front of a needle and thread was adopted in the 50's helping to accurately date the suit.
The bra cups need to be reshaped a bit when wet and the elastic below them has lost a bit of 'give'.  Not a huge issue but I mention it just to be super thorough!  In over-all beautiful condition with no fabric pulls or holes, this blast-from-the-past will be one of your favorites for summers to come!!
