Vintage 50s Abstract Atomic Print Hourglass Pin-Up Swimsuit Bathing Suit w/Skirt

Description

Amazing vintage 1950s abstract print swimsuit/bathing suit.
This has black cord edged shoulder straps that attach in the front with plastic buttons, so they can be crossed or straight.
The bust is fitted, with a horizontal black cord across the center and a built-in bra.
This is gathered in the front with a seam up the center, with elastic smocking in the back to keep it close against the body.
The bottom has a small "skirt" made up of four pieces of fabric, two over the front and back, one over each side, with boy cut bottoms beneath.
The fabric is white cotton printed with fantastic mid-century modern abstract squares in black, dark green, pink, and red.

Very good - there are several faint gray spots on the shoulder straps and the suit, and it looks like a bit of boning on the right side is missing (it's only the bottom half).
Lining:
Cotton bra with boning on either outer side, and then a waffled cotton down the front.
