This auction is for a Series of 1862 One Dollar Legal Tender banknote from the United States. This item is heavily circulated/ragged/damaged/tattered and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding, many areas of damage with many pieces missing); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease and/or rust stains, areas of discoloration, foreign substance); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed/damaged/missing - edges rough/damaged/missing in many areas); very heavy surface wear and fraying (many areas of paper thinning and damage); many edge indents/nicks (many massively large damaging tears and many smaller tears); several holes exist; obviously many pieces missing due to heavy wear and damage.
