I just wanted to let you know. I am a car dealer. And it is so awesome product very glad I found you. I will be telling others as well. And I will definitely be ordering more soon. Thank you for a great product
I started my business 44 years ago formulating and manufacturing car wash products. Sling has always been an issue with tire shine products. Any tire shine product using silicone fluid will certainly sling. Why? Silicone is a fluid. It doesn't evaporate or harden. In tire shine products, it always remains a liquid: oil-base or water-base. Eventually, centrifugal force from the spinning tire will remove the silicone. So many products have tried various ways to get silicone fluid to stick to tires. Trying silicone fluids of extremely high viscosity may keep the silicone clinging to the tire longer, but it is more like a paste and attracts soils. In no time the gloss is gone and the tire looks horrible.
What is so unique about this my product?
I use organic polymers in place of silicone fluid. Polymers stick to the tire and don't spin off, like silicone based products. Sling Free also makes a great wheel well dressing and undercoating because it lasts for weeks and doesn't rinse off with water. If you get some on your rims, a little kerosene or mineral spirits on a rag will remove it quickly.
A note to motorcyclists: Sling Free has no silicone, therefore it is not slippery. It does dry to a tacky feel that increases traction. It not only seals and beautifies tires, it promotes traction to dry pavement. This is the ONLY tire shine product that does this.
Sling Free is for tires and undercoating only. Do not use in the interior or to dress your motor.
Sling Free has been recently improved. The polymers have been refined to bring more durability to the product, and more shine. The activity level of polymer has been increased as well as the quality of polymer. It makes it more expensive than it was, but a better product.
Who Sling Free is for: anyone who wants a low cost tire dressing that lasts a few thousand miles. Sling Free is perfect for truckers and for those who sell vehicles new or used. Sling Free is for professionals who know how to dress a tire. Sling Free is NOT for professional automated car washes that apply tire dressing automatically during the wash process. Sling Free is for manual application.
How to apply:
Apply sparingly. A little goes a long way. Too much product will promote sling. The best application method is with a spray AND brush. Spray a little on and distribute with the brush. The less volume you use, the faster the carrier solvent evaporates leaving just the polymer on the tire. Wipe excess off rims while wet. If dry, moisten a paper towel with a little kerosene or mineral spirits and wipe off.
If dressing the wheel well, spray onto a clean, dry surface. Don't brush. Allow to dry.
