Killer 1940s WWII era Jantzen nautical novelty one piece women’s swim suit. Beautiful deep rich indigo navy blue colored fabric - feels like a lightweight terrycloth. Nautical patches & bottom stripe - classic diving girl patch on the hip. Marked size 36. Made in the USA.

Pre owned, shows light general wear. Really clean. Nice condition! Minty! No holes, stains or seam issues. The only flaws I can tell are that one of the drawstring ties on the back is shorter (maybe part of it broke off) & there is some fraying on the inside trim near the bust (you do not see this from the front). Some very faint aged discoloration on the bottom trim in the back - barely noticeable. Stray thread here and there but just being picky. As far as old Jantzens go, this is totally wearable and a good size - feels nice. Not itchy wool. Awesome military pin up VLV look, or wall hanger.
Shown on women’s size small mannequin. It fits well but is roomy in the back & has stretch. I would say depending on how you like things to fit this could work on a modern S/M.
