1940s Playsuit Birds of Paradise Hawaii.
THIS KILLS ME! My dream piece way way too big for me
1940s Birds of Paradise Playsuit
Styled in Hawaii featuring a swan/crane like bird print in orange, brown, and white with purple hues. Absolutely stunning. It kills me to let this go. I bought it for myself and didn’t realize it would be so large on me. There is one small mark on the shorts on the right hip pictured. There are a few pin dot scattered marks on a couple of areas.
Shorts:
Measuring the inside waistband 29”. There are two sections where the previous owner sewed in a 1/2” on each section to take it in. If let out you’ll have a whole other inch making it a 30” waist. There are hidden closures on the inside liner.
Hips 40”
Rise 15”
Inseam 3”
Leg opening 26”
Top:
Has hook and eye closures. You could move them to create a smaller band.
The tape measure flat across measures 32” but if you follow the depth of the cups it’s 37.5”
This would definitely work for someone with a 34” band. The cups were taken in 3/4” on one side and 1/2” on the other. If let out that would gain an extra 1 and 1/4”. The cups would accommodate a D cup through an F cup.
