This is a 126 slide holder for use with the Epson Perfection
    Epson Perfection V700, V750, V800 and V850
flatbed film scanners (US Patent Pending).  This was CAD designed and manufactured for use with the obsolete 126 film format introduced by Kodak in 1963.  Used commonly in Kodak "Instamatic" cameras, production of 126 film ended in 2008.  Mounted 126 slide mounts were 2" x 2" so technically an Epson 35 mm slide holder will work with them.  The issue is that the image 126 cameras recorded was square, unlike the rectangular shape of 35 mm images.  Thus trying to scan a 126 slide in a 35 mm slide holder will result in cropping of the original image.
    This adapter is for use with 2" x 2" (50.8 x 50.8 mm) mounted 126 slides.
Cardboard mounted slides occasionally varied in their outer dimensions.  Please make certain that the slides you intend to scan do not have outer dimensions that exceed 2" x 2" (50.8 x 50.8 mm)
.  Note:  126 film cartridge pictured above is for demonstrative purposes only.  126 film is not included with this item.
Specifications for the 126 slide holder:
    Overall: 199 mm x 55 mm
    Scanning window:  27 x 27 mm
(comes with two trays, 3 windows each)
    Material:  Solid Plastic
    Epson 800/850 users:
Due to the built in anti-newton glass in your OEM holders, you will
    not
be able to use your stock 120 holder for alignment, as described below.  For best usage, you will need your film area guide to aid in proper alignment for scanning.
Important:  This negative holder is designed to sit inside the stock 120 film holder (directly on the glass) that shipped with your Canon or Epson scanner.  Utilizing your 120 OEM holder may not be strictly necessary with some scanners, but utilizing your stock holder aids in proper positioning and can help avoid calibration and focus issues

SPECIAL NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS BUYING MULTIPLE ITEMS
:  Ebay has recently changed rules for international buyers.  Depending on where you live, you may not be able to combine shipping or ask me to send an invoice before paying.  The system may require to pay immediately as well as to pay for separate shipping on each item.  If this happens to you, I have a policy of always reimbursing excess shipping charges on multiple items to international buyers.  Once I have all your items packaged up together and weighed, I will refund any excess shipping costs to you.

    Important additional notes:
    - If you are buying my holders for resale, please be aware that my products are more about "function" over "form."  This is why they are so inexpensive compared to other commercially produced options.  Each holder is custom made and may contain spot sanding and other finishing marks.  I do my best to clean my products up cosmetically, but due to sales volume I simply can't spend a lot of time on it.  My main concern is that it works like it is supposed to.  As a result, if you are reselling please be aware that you may need to do some more finishing work suitable for a retail environment.
    - Aftermarket holders for odd film sizes will usually require the ability to manually scan film strips with "thumbnail" modes turned off.  Depending on your model and software, masking of individual frames for scanning may be necessary for the best results.  Please ensure you know how to set your scanner/software for full manual control.  Simply pushing a green button on the front of your scanner (common with Epson models) to scan a film strip will not work with most aftermarket film holders.
    - Please pay particular attention to the "handling" days before shipping as noted above.  I do not typically maintain an inventory of my film holders as most are custom made upon order placement.  As such, I ask for 5 business days handling before shipping.  My average is likely around 2 days, but there are occasions where orders are very high and I may need all 5 business days before I am able to ship your holder.  Please keep this in mind.
    - The holder you order may or may not completely take up the space inside your 120 or 35 mm OEM holders.  Customers sometimes ask why I simply don't make them so they fit perfectly inside the appropriate OEM holder.  The issue with this is two-fold.  First, my max build is just below the length of most OEM holders.  Second, I've found that many OEM holders, even within the same model, can be off by a millimeter or two.  So if I made a holder for an Epson V700 that fit perfectly for one customer, the next customer with the exact same model might find the holder is too tight to fit their OEM film frames.  Thus it's better to leave some "wiggle" room.  Another customer asked what the "point" is of having to use the 120 or 35 mm OEM frames to begin with.  Why not just put my holders straight down on the glass?  There are two reasons for this:  1) OEM holders have special markings on them that tell your scanner how to focus appropriately.  Without using your OEM frame, some scanners will refuse to scan altogether or the scan will be out of focus.  2) Using an OEM frame helps keep my aftermarket holder (and your negative) as straight as possible for scanning.
